Key Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Maintenance and Repair:

    • Perform reactive service, installations, and preventative maintenance on all beverage equipment used in the fountain industry, including soda fountains, bar gun systems, ice machines, beverage refrigerated units, and other refrigerated equipment.

    • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues to identify the root cause and implement effective solutions.

    • Conduct routine maintenance checks and ensure all equipment is operating at peak efficiency.

  • Service Ticket Management:

    • Receive and manage service work tickets dispatched through Service Fusion, accessed via a mobile device.

    • Complete service tickets accurately and timely, ensuring all necessary information is documented, including proper labor codes, materials, inventory, and work summarization.

    • Responsible for inventory related to installs and reactive services, ensuring all necessary parts are logged and maintained on the service vehicle.

  • Customer Service:

    • Interact and communicate with customers to provide status updates and manage expectations.

    • Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high quality service and resolving issues promptly.

    • Ensure proper representation of contract hire company's values, and display / follow their guidelines and expectations (Coke, Pepsi, etc).

  • Quality Assurance:

    • Verify the accuracy of work completed and ensure all equipment meets operational standards.

    • Inspect and Ensure compliance with internal and external metrics, and Service Licensing Agreements Standards (SLAs).

    • Complete jobs in a timely manner minimizing repeat reactive service calls.

    • Work with and communicate with each player within the service process to ensure optimal communication between the customer, dispatcher, service management team, and authorizing work parties. Both internal and external.

  • Routing and Scheduling:

    • Work off pre-routed reactive and pre-scheduled service and installation calls.

    • Drive to various customer locations to perform maintenance and repair tasks.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant training in equipment maintenance or a related field is a plus.

  • At least two years of experience in servicing beverage or plumbing equipment, with preference for experience working with Cornelius, Lancer, and Wunderbar fountain systems.

  • Additional experience with ice machines and frozen food machines such as Bunn and Frazil is a plus.

  • Experience working with machines like CocaCola Freestyle is a plus.

  • Strong mechanical and technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Proficiency in using service management software, specifically Service Fusion, and billing software, specifically ZoHo Inventory.

  • Knowledge of refrigeration is a plus; EPA refrigeration certification is a strong plus.

  • Understanding of thermodynamics and the sequence of operations for basic fountain and refrigeration systems is a must.

  • Predisposed interest in mechanical sequence of operations and general mechanical aptitude is a plus.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Customer service oriented with a positive attitude.

  • Familiarity with McDonald’s beverage equipment is a strong plus.

  • Experience with CCNA service work is highly desirable.

Working Relationships:

  • Reports to the Service Manager.

  • Works closely with Technicians, Logistics Team, and Accounting Department.

Performance Metrics:

  • Efficiency and accuracy in completing service tickets.

  • Customer satisfaction ratings.

  • Accuracy of maintenance records and billing information.

  • Ability to resolve equipment issues promptly and effectively.
