Description:

Job Summary:

• Provides care in the ambulatory setting directed toward meeting both the psychosocial and physical needs of the patient.
• Accountable for the coordination of nursing care for surgical patients, from pediatric to geriatric age groups.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan and implement nursing care and evaluate patient outcomes.
• Is compatible and supportive, and a team player.
• Communicates on behalf of the patient, reflects the mission, ethics and goals of the facility, as well as the focus statement of the department.

Requirement Description:

• Minimum 3+ years current PACU experience - Required
• Must have both pre AND post op experience
• Critical access/rural hospital experience Strongly Preferred
• Arterial Line experience - Required
• EPIC experience - Required
• Same Day Discharge Experience Preferred
• Travel experience (at least 6 months) - strongly encouraged
• Current PALS Cert - Preferred
• Perm address must be included in profile
• Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need
• ANY/ALL RTO must be included in profile
