Position Overview:

Anaqua is looking for a highly motivated attorney with 1-3 years experience with an interest in a career in an in-house legal department at a fast-paced technology company. You will be joining a small legal team with an opportunity to assist in a wide variety of software licensing transactions, privacy and security and general corporate areas. This is a hybrid role with expectations of being in our Boston corporate office 3 days per week.

Youll love this job if you like to:

  • Draft, review and negotiate a wide variety of agreements including international cloud software agreements, master services agreements, sales licensing agreements, amendments, NDAs, Data Processing Agreements and vendor agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with security, export control, sanctions and privacy regulations.
  • Assist with employee-related/HR matters.
  • Assist with pre-litigation claims and litigation matters related to contracts.
  • Assist with corporate governance matters for subsidiaries.
  • Draft and maintain internal security, export control, sanctions, ESG and privacy policies.
  • Assist in M&A acquisitions and post-acquisition integrations.
  • Assist with real estate transactions.

What youll need to be successful:

  • Bachelors degree, J.D. from an accredited law school and current license to practice law in Massachusetts.
  • 1-3 years of corporate legal experience in a law firm or in house setting.
  • Intellectual property coursework or experience a plus.

The total rewards package for this role is expected to include an annual salary between $100,000$125,000, determined based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, and qualifications. Additional compensation may include a comprehensive benefits package.
