The Golf Bag Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring the club's golf operations run smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest standards. The role involves managing golf bag storage, assisting members with preparations on the first tee, and maintaining cleanliness in their work area, amongst other responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining the storage area for golf bags and carts, ensuring they are well organized and clean.
• Assisting golfers with their equipment upon arrival – unloading, cleaning, and storing golf clubs.
• Preparing golf carts with the member's golf bags, ensuring they are ready ahead of their tee time.
• Helping members with any queries or issues they may have, providing excellent customer service at all times.
• Maintaining the exterior appearance of the club, including cleaning and tidying areas of responsibility.
• Providing additional help to the golf shop, driving range, or other areas where needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is desired but not compulsory
• Experience working in a customer service role would be beneficial.
• Knowledge of golf rules and etiquette is advantageous.
• Must be physically able to lift golf bags, bend, stoop and crouch regularly.
• Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to engage positively with members and guests.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
