We are seeking a skilled Semiconductor Equipment Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for testing, diagnosing, and repairing semiconductor manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with semiconductor tools, strong troubleshooting skills, and a solid understanding of electronic and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform testing, calibration, and preventive maintenance on semiconductor manufacturing equipment.

- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and process-related issues.

- Repair or replace defective components, including electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.

- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimize equipment performance.

- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and equipment status.

- Follow safety protocols and industry standards (e.g., ISO, SEMI).

- Assist in equipment installation, upgrades, and qualification.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Technical Certification, Associate Degree, or equivalent experience in Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.

- 2+ years of hands-on experience with semiconductor manufacturing equipment (e.g., etch, deposition, lithography, metrology tools).

- Strong understanding of electrical circuits, PLCs, vacuum systems, and RF/power supplies.

- Proficiency in using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and diagnostic software.

- Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and engineering diagrams.

- Experience with SEMI standards and cleanroom protocols is a plus.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with Varian/Applied Materials, Advanced Energy, CTI Cryogenics, Brooks Automation, Sumitomo Heavy Industries tools.

- Knowledge of wafer fabrication processes.

- Familiarity with SCADA, IoT, or predictive maintenance tools.
