Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - K-12

Location: Springfield, VT
Duration: CSY (Contract)

An opportunity awaits for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services in a K-12 setting. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about enhancing student munication skills and are mitted to fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, diagnose speech and language disorders, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet student needs.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions and track student progress through regular monitoring and evaluation.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other stakeholders to facilitate munication goals and ensure cohesive support for each student.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the development of school-wide initiatives focused on speech and language enhancement.
  • Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology and educational methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.
  • Valid state licensure and Certification of Clinical petence (CCC-SLP).
  • Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in a school setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students and families.
  • Proficient in using technology for assessments and virtual therapy sessions, if applicable.
