Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years paraprofessional or special education experience required.

Our partner school in Strafford, New Hampshire is searching for a Special Education Paraprofessional(PARA) or Teacher Assistant(TA) to join our Special Education team. We are looking for a kind and caring candidate wanting to work with students of varying levels and meets the following qualifications:

Requirements:

  • Must have a High School Diploma, or higher
  • AParaprofessionalII Certification, or willingness to apply, preferred
  • Must be comfortable working with Special Education students
  • Must be able to pass a background check and complete credentialing items (fingerprints, physical exam, etc.)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and instructional activities.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special needs, including those with disabilities, learning differences, or English language learners.
  • Reinforce learning concepts and help students with assignments and projects.
  • Assist with classroom management and behavior reinforcement strategies.

About the Position:

  • Upcoming School Year: August 2025 - June 2026
  • Full-Time: up to 40 hours per week
  • Caseload: multiple openings K - 12th grade, specific details will be discussed during the interview process
  • Pay Rate: $15- $25per hour, depending on previous experience
