Multifamily Renovations Manager

We are a stable and growing multifamily renovation company, and we're looking for a Project Manager to help us see these large scale renovation projects through to the end successfully. The projects will be around the Boston area. If that sounds like something you can help us with, please read on!

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee multifamily renovation projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to manage teams and coordinate with subcontractors effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multifamily renovation projects from inception to completion.
  • Travel between job sites in the Boston area.
  • Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to stay on track.
  • Conduct regular site visits to oversee work quality and safety compliance.
  • Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and forecasting costs.
  • Facilitate communication among all project stakeholders, including clients and team members.
  • Utilize project management tools, such as Smartsheets and Excel, to track progress and report updates.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the construction industry, specifically in multifamily renovations.
  • Strong knowledge of construction management processes and practices.
  • Proficient in project management software, including Smartsheets and Excel.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • A network of local subcontractors is a plus.
