Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher for a K-3 classroom setting in a K-12 school environment located in Salem, NH. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in both co-teaching and resource room settings, providing prehensive support to students with diverse learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to students with disabilities in both co-teaching and resource room formats.
- Collaborate with general education teachers to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Monitor student progress and adapt instructional strategies to meet individual needs.
- Maintain detailed records and municate effectively with families, staff, and administrators.
- Support a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student growth and achievement.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification.
- Experience working with K-3 students in both co-teaching and resource room settings.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, IEP development, and classroom management techniques.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other professionals.
