A K-12 school in Vineyard Haven, MA is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services on a leave replacement contract. This role offers a flexible schedule with 37.5 hours per week expected; candidates willing to work three days per week will be considered.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience with teletherapy and in-school speech-language services
- Ability to effectively manage caseloads for K-12 students
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs) and school-based therapy protocols
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students
- Conducting teletherapy sessions as needed to support student progress
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Preparing documentation, progress reports, and treatment plans
- Adapting therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs across various settings
