Your Shift & Earnings

This role involves a stable work schedule from 7 PM to 7 AM every Thursday through Saturday, with rotating Wednesdays. Earn $30 hourly plus a differential of $1.25 for night shifts.

Daily Engagements

  • Tackle equipment maintenance head-on, enhancing efficiency and minimizing idle times.
  • Perform routine inspections to uphold the safety and sanitation of the workplace.
  • Quickly respond to urgent maintenance issues, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Manage climate control systems, including ventilation and HVAC units, efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations regarding waste management.
  • Handle lighting repairs and wiring tasks, keeping the facility bright and operational.
  • Document and analyze production downtimes to improve future processes.
  • Adopt safety protocols like Lock-out, Tag-out when handling chemical applications.
  • Engage in process optimizations, integrating team inputs for continuous improvements.
  • Participate in training sessions and educational workshops to boost technical skills.
  • Meet the qualifications of an irradiator operator and advance in electrical safety.
  • Enter and manage data using our maintenance software systems effectively.
  • Collaborate with colleagues per the code of conduct and contribute to team goals.

What You Bring

Essential:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Hands-on experience in mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or electrical systems.
  • Competency with computers and software for document processing and spreadsheets.
  • Reading and understanding of technical blueprints/schematics.
  • Physical endurance for handling weights up to 50 lbs.
  • Proficiency in communication, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work in hot or humid environments, wearing a respirator if necessary.

Advantageous:

  • Familiarity with PLC/control system technologies.
  • Advanced skills in organizing and analyzing tasks, arithmetic, and detailed observations.
  • Capability to work autonomously under general supervision.
  • Adept at adapting to new tasks and responsibilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills from past work experiences.
  • Sound hearing for alerts and signals in the workplace.
