We are a dynamic organization with a strong technology foundation, supporting 1,000 users across multiple locations, including two buildings in Brighton, MA, and remote sites in MA and Los Angeles. Over the past year, we’ve invested heavily in upgrading our network infrastructure, including a full transition from Cisco to Arista networking. We’re looking for a proactive, people-oriented Network Engineer or Network Administrator to join our team and help support and grow our network environment.

Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
Support and manage network infrastructure across two main sites and three remote locations, including TV and radio transmitter sites.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize Arista network systems, WiFi, and SD-WAN environments.
Work with cloud/hybrid storage solutions, including Amazon Direct Connect.
Serve as a primary point of contact for network issues, coordinating with vendors such as Arista and Four Four Three Technologies.
Participate in off-hours/on-call support for network emergencies as needed.
Assist with onboarding, training, and documentation to maintain team knowledge and continuity.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments, fostering a team-oriented culture.
Learn and grow within the role, expanding technical skills and responsibilities over time.
Qualifications:
Experience with network administration and troubleshooting in a mixed Mac/PC environment (approx. 60/40).
Hands-on experience or willingness to learn Arista networking equipment and SD-WAN technologies.
Familiarity with hybrid storage environments and cloud connectivity (Amazon Direct Connect preferred).
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to engage vendors and support teams effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; must be a team player and forward-facing.
Eagerness to learn and grow, with a proactive approach to challenges.
Ability to participate in occasional on-call rotations for emergency support.
Preferred Experience:
Prior experience in environments with multiple buildings and remote sites.
Exposure to network design, WiFi upgrades, and troubleshooting complex network systems.
Experience in a collaborative, people-focused IT team environment.
