Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A part-time Physical Therapist is needed to provide onsite services for students in grades Kindergarten through 8th grade within a school setting in Lawrence, MA. This role involves servicing a caseload of approximately 7 students, with diagnoses to be shared upon hire. The position is contract-based, running from the start date through June 17, 2026, with a flexible schedule acmodating 10 hours per week during school hours between 8 AM and 3 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy services aligned with student IEP goals.
- Travel between multiple school sites within the district, with mileage reimbursement.
- Collaborate with educational teams to schedule and participate in IEP meetings.
- Utilize ESPed for documentation and reporting purposes.
- Maintain pliance with licensing and district protocols.
Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Massachusetts.
- pletion of fingerprinting and CORI background checks.
- Ability to work onsite and travel between school locations.
- Experience working with K-8 student populations preferred.

Additional Details:
- Students currently do not use wheelchairs or adaptive/assistive devices.
- Students do not receive adapted physical education services.
- Flexibility in daily schedules and IEP meeting dates to acmodate workload.
