Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist with experience in general ultrasound imaging to support emergency services and womens health care. This position offers a unique opportunity to work primarily within an emergency room setting, providing vital diagnostic imaging to both ER patients and inpatients.

Location: Boston, MA
Type: Contract
Schedule:

  • Saturday & Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (Emergency Department)
  • Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (Womens Health Center)

Responsibilities include operating ultrasound equipment within a radiology suite in the Emergency Department and assisting with patient imaging at the Womens Health Center on Fridays. The role requires close clinician-to-patient interaction on a one-to-one basis to ensure high-quality imaging and patient care. Accurate documentation using the EPIC electronic medical records system is essential.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in general ultrasound imaging
  • RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) certification required
  • Familiarity with Emergency Department procedures and patient flow
  • Experience with EPIC or equivalent EMR systems preferred
  • Expertise in ultrasound imaging geared toward emergency and women's health patient populations
