Assistant Teacher Infant/Toddler Classroom

Pay: $19$20 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, MondayFriday
About The Learning Experience
The Learning Experience Andover is seeking a caring, dependable Assistant Teacher to support our Infant and Toddler classrooms. Our center provides a warm, engaging environment where young children learn through play, exploration, and nurturing relationships. Key Responsibilities
- Support Lead Teachers in creating a safe, loving, and developmentally appropriate classroom.
- Assist with daily routines including diapering, feeding, napping, transitions, and playtime.
- Engage infants and toddlers in meaningful early learning activities such as sensory play, music, and language development.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and co-workers.
- Ensure compliance with Massachusetts EEC licensing guidelines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience working with infants/toddlers in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting preferred.
- CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework a plus (not required).
- Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Must meet EEC suitability and licensing requirements for Massachusetts.
