Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Job Title: Special Education Teacher
Position: Full-Time, Onsite
Dates: ASAP June 2026

Overview:
We are seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher to support a self-contained classroom serving students in Grades 13. The program includes approximately 6 students and has strong paraeducator support. This role requires a teacher who is confident, collaborative, and skilled in supporting students with varying academic and behavioral needs.

Responsibilities:

• Lead instruction in a self-contained elementary special education classroom

• Implement IEPs and document student progress

• Provide individualized academic and behavioral support

• Collaborate closely with paraeducators and school staff

• Maintain a structured, safe, and supportive learning environment

• Modify curriculum and instructional materials as needed

Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts Special Education teaching license

• Experience in self-contained or specialized programs preferred

• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills

• Comfort working with diverse learning and behavioral needs
