Job Description
The Maintenance Mechanics are primarily responsible for the preventive and predictive maintenance of production equipment according to safety standards. Maintenance personnel maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve the processes related to the mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment. All work must be performed within the budgeted standards in a safe, efficient, and professional manner while maintaining a high standard of quality and safety.
Essential Duties
- Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
- Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of heavy industrial processing machinery.
- Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- With Maintenance Manager, develop and maintain assigned Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Preventative Maintenance Procedures (PMPs) and supporting documentation.
- Effectively communicate, integrate and ensure compliance with all policies in all operations
- Coordinate the performance of work following specifications and work plan.
- Perform work in a safe an efficient manner in compliance with company.
