• \tDEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTION\t
  \t\t
  • Perform a wide variety of technical procedures, requiring independent judgment and ingenuity.
    \t\tRequires initiative to apply appropriate skills to facilitate a diagnosis.
    \t\tMay be assigned independent responsibilities by Lead Technologist, Administrative Director, or Operations Manager.
    \t\tProper care of the client in accordance with the departmental and hospital policies and
    \t\tprocedures is required.
    \t\tMay be responsible for assigned areas to assume responsibilities of supervision or instruction to department personnel as determined by Operations Manager or Lead Technologist.
    \t\tPractices infection control and body substance isolation in clinical practice in compliance with departmental and hospital policies and OSHA standards.
    \t\tMaintains patient confidentiality at all times.
    \t\tDemonstrates proper operation of PACS, HIS and RIS computer systems.
    \t\tDemonstrates ability to operate and trouble shoot CR, DR and PACs applications.
    \t\tAttends annual mandatory education to include blood borne pathogens, infection control, and body substance isolation.
    \t\tMaintains department competencies as required.

• \tMust have excellent patient care skills. Must be current with all continuing education for both radiology and mammography\t

Requirements

• 2 Years experience, 1 YEAR CURRENT EXPERIENCE

• ARRT (R) Certification - Required

\t

• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred

\t

• Must be willing to work weekends

\t

• Perm address required in Profile

\t

• Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need
