We are looking for an experienced and reliable Commercial HVAC/R Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. Systems include but are not limited to ice machines, walk-in and reach-in coolers/freezers, rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, air handlers, exhaust fans, make-up air units, and HVAC/R control systems.


The ideal candidate has strong diagnostic skills, a deep understanding of HVAC/R electrical systems, and the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints with confidence.


Commercial HVAC/R Tech Key Responsibilities:


  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC/R systems and equipment.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to ensure equipment operates efficiently and reliably.
  • Accurately document all services performed and maintain compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, management, and customers.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency service response.

Commercial HVAC/R Tech Qualifications:


  • 5–10 years of commercial HVAC/R experience, including installation, service, and repair.
  • EPA Universal Certification required.
  • Massachusetts Refrigeration License preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
  • OSHA 10 Certification required.
  • Proficiency with HVAC/R controls, smart devices, and system diagnostics.
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
