This opportunity is ideal for experienced registered nurses with a strong background in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing. The role requires a flexible, skilled RN ready to support a 32-bed telemetry unit and two med-surg units (20 and 15 beds) as part of a float pool. Nurses will provide critical coverage on inpatient units, including holiday shifts, making adaptability and comprehensive clinical skills essential.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care across telemetry and med-surgical units.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and care standards.
- Float between units as needed, demonstrating versatility and clinical expertise.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, preferably using Meditech Expanse 6.
- Participate in orientation sessions prior to assignment start dates.
Required Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse with a permanent Massachusetts license.
- Minimum of 2 years nursing experience within medical-surgical and telemetry specialties.
- Proven travel nursing experience, including holiday coverage readiness.
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS required.
- Ability to provide two recent professional references (specialty charge RN or manager preferred).
- Updated resume reflecting relevant experience and skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel; local candidates within 50 miles qualify for local rate.
- Familiarity with Meditech Expanse 6 preferred but not mandatory.
