Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Extended School Year Contract | Claremont, NH

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) for a full-time, school-based position in the Claremont, New Hampshire area. This position is for the Extended School Year (ESY) program, with contract dates from July 8, 2025, through July 31, 2025.

This is an excellent short-term opportunity for a COTA who enjoys working with students and making an impact during the summer term.

Position Overview

• Setting: School-Based

• Renewal: Renewal opportunities for the 20252026 school year based on performance

Typical Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist

• Implement treatment plans and goals as outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Assist in therapeutic activities to improve students fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills

• Document student progress and communicate updates to supervising OT and educational staff

• Support classroom staff with strategies and tools for student success

• Help prepare adaptive materials and assistive technology as needed

Requirements & Qualifications
All applicants must meet the following local and state requirements to be considered:

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

• Current New Hampshire COTA license issued by the New Hampshire Office of Licensed Allied Health Professionals

• Completion of a criminal background check and fingerprinting as required by the state and school district

• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred

• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and follow OT directives
