Job DescriptionDescription:

The Dietary Tech will:

  • Be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the kitchen.
  • Adhere to sanitation and food safety guidelines as per ServSafe Food Handler Certification.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills.
  • Work in collaboration with food vendors, coworkers and the clients served over the telephone and email.
  • Prepare a light breakfast for clients, set up the prepared and delivered meals for lunch, and on occasion, prepare light refreshments for celebrations with the clients.
  • Be responsible for keeping the kitchen clean on a daily basis and maintaining a regular cleaning schedule for deep cleaning.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Dietary/Kitchen experience working with disabled and elderly adult population.
  • ServSafe Certification (Within 6 months of hire)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
