Is this you?
- Comfortable diagnosing machine electrical issues and getting production back online fast?
- Experienced with PLCs (ideally Allen-Bradley) and able to troubleshoot controls?
- Capable of maintaining and modifying HMIs, PLCs, and VMDs?
- Willing to support emergency and general maintenance, including some weekends and off-shifts?
- Safety-forward, with a habit of following procedures and contributing to plant initiatives like the STOP Card program?
What you’ll do
- Analyze electrical malfunctions in equipment and related components; implement quick, effective corrections.
- Perform project installation tasks as directed by the Process Engineer.
- Monitor and manage critical spare-part inventory levels; identify and resolve gaps.
- Complete monthly computer-based training; comply with all policies, procedures, and rules.
- Read one-line diagrams and ladder logic; use meters, hand tools, and shop equipment accurately.
- Communicate issues and solutions across functions; collaborate regularly with all facility teams.
- Handle other duties as assigned to support operations.
Qualifications
- Massachusetts Journeyman or Master Electrician License.
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience and 2+ years in electrical maintenance.
- High school diploma (required).
- Heavy industry background with electrical systems and production equipment (required).
- HMI experience preferred; training provided.
- Allen-Bradley PLC experience preferred; training provided.
- Preventive maintenance system proficiency is a plus.
- Able to work long or irregular hours on your feet and lift 50+ lbs.
