Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical-Surgical Telemetry Float Pool position requiring an active MA license and strong telemetry background.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in the hospital float pool, rotating among various Med/Surg and Telemetry units as needed
- Patient population includes adults requiring medical-surgical and telemetry care
- 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Assignment is 8 weeks in length
- EPIC EMR experience is required
- No local candidates accepted; must live at least 50 miles from the facility
- Float pool RNs will provide direct patient care across varying Med/Surg and Telemetry settings
- Assignment does not allow any time off requests
- First-time travelers will be considered
- Professional scrubs required per hospital dress code
- Parking costs may be significant in the Boston area
\n \n Requirements\n
- Active MA RN license must be in hand at time of consideration
- Minimum 2 years of MS Tele experience is required
- Strong telemetry skills are required as position will float to multiple units
- Current COVID-19 vaccine with booster and Flu vaccination are required (medical exemptions allowed)
- Must pass a Tele/ECG and Medication test prior to assignment
- Previous employees must have a 6-month break from any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility before returning
