Eminence Home Care in is actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our outstanding team!
As a PCA, you will provide essential support and care to individuals in their homes, assisting them in daily activities while ensuring their comfort and well-being. Your role will be vital in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, promoting dignity, and encouraging independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Help with mobility and transfers to ensure clients can move safely around their environment.
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and encourage social interaction.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry and cleaning, to maintain a safe and healthy living space.
Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a caregiving role preferred, but not required.
- Strong compassion and empathy toward clients.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to follow care plans.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
- Proof of current immunizations and clearance (negative TB test).
- High school diploma or equivalent certification.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, particularly during client interactions.
