Your impact

  • Stabilize production by troubleshooting and repairing building and equipment systems across hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, mechanical, and electrical domains.
  • Elevate asset performance through preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment and forklifts.
  • Preserve equipment life by cleaning, lubricating, greasing, and oiling machines and tools.
  • Serve as a technical partner—assist peers in diagnosing malfunctions using schematics and manuals.
  • Handle minor electrical tasks (bulb/fuse replacement) and support light carpentry and repairs; if licensed, conduct routine repairs on electrically powered equipment under guidance.
  • Address minor plumbing fixture servicing and replacement.
  • Protect assets with paint, varnish, and stain application.
  • Set, remove, and properly store production molds per documented procedures.
  • Bench test, clean, rebuild, and inspect fill guns and ejectors.
  • Verify process integrity via water treatment sampling—collect, test, and report hardness, pH, and related values at various stages.
  • Complete job specifications, task lists, and all required paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Model safety: follow lockout/tagout, wear required PPE, and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Who you are

  • A self-starting, independent problem-solver who manages time well.
  • Comfortable coordinating inventory for maintenance parts and supplies and engaging suppliers and internal teams.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; two-year technical degree or certificate preferred.
  • 3+ years of relevant maintenance experience with proven trade proficiency and independent capability for standard repairs.

Preferred experience

  • MRP/ERP work order processing.
  • Care and monitoring of low-pressure boilers, air compressors, air dryers, and vacuum pumps.
  • Forklift maintenance and support.
  • Reading schematics to troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues.
  • Availability for assigned shifts, overtime, and occasional after-hours meetings.

Tools

The plant supplies all required tools. Personal tools may be used if reviewed and approved by plant management.

Physical demands

Frequently lift and carry up to 45 pounds. Close vision is required. While performing the role, expect regular sitting; use of hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talking or hearing. Occasionally you will push, pull, and/or move materials and work in awkward positions such as beneath equipment or around operating machinery.
