Position Summary:
We are looking for an IT Solution Architect - Enterprise Reporting and Data Governance - to join our IT team as we deliver on our vision to become best in class. Welch's is modernizing the way we manage, safeguard, and activate data. We are seeking a results-driven Infor M3 Reporting & Enterprise Data Governance Professional to play a dual role: deliver high-impact reports within the Infor M3 ERP ecosystem, provide technical support to the Infor Data Mesh platform, and lead the operational execution of our enterprise data governance program. This is a hands-on, cross-functional position ideal for someone who can move fluidly between technical development and governance facilitation.
You will be the go-to technical expert for M3-based reporting & Data Mesh platform, while also acting as the operational heartbeat of our data governance councils. Where You'll Work:
This role will be based out of Welch's new state-of-the-art office in Waltham, MA on a hybrid schedule. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are in office days. Thursday and Friday are remote, work from home days.
What You'll Do:
Infor M3 Operational Reporting (60%)
- Design, develop & support reports using Infor M3 tools: M3 F&B Cloudsuite (native reports), M3 Ad-Hoc Reporting, Infor OS Workspaces, List Views, Birst, ION
- Create real-time reports, exports, and inquiries to support functions such as supply chain, manufacturing, and finance.
- Ensure data accuracy, usability, and performance of all reporting assets.
- Collaborate with business and functional leads to translate operational needs into scalable reporting solutions.
- Participate in system testing, upgrades, and patches related to reporting.
- Creation of additional Infor Data Lake objects as needed for MS Fabric analytics.
Governance Council Operations (20%)
- Coordinate 5+ data governance councils: scheduling, agenda creation, meeting facilitation, and follow-ups.
- Capture decisions and actions, assign owners, and ensure timely closure.
- Partner with council members to refine agendas and support accountability.
DAMA-DMBOK Framework Execution (10%)
- Translate data policies, standards, and controls into actionable business practices.
- Promote adoption of data governance practices across enterprise workflows.
- Track policy maturity and report on compliance metrics.
Data-First Culture & Tool Support (10%)
- Champion data literacy and stewardship across all business units.
- Assist with metadata management, cataloging, data lineage, and quality tracking.
- Support the rollout of the Infor Data Mesh and monitor governance KPIs.

What You'll Need:
- 5-10 years of hands-on expertise with Infor M3 ERP reporting tools (operational and analytical) and understanding of M3 data structures.
- Project management capabilities with a proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive tasks to completion.
- Experience in data governance or enterprise data roles highly preferred.
- Familiarity with DAMA-DMBOK (Data Management Body of Knowledge) principles and experience with governance platforms (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation, or similar).
- Exposure to modern data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric or Infor Data Lake a strong plus.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent presentation (written and verbal) and communication skills. Ability to effectively bridge understanding between business and technical audiences.

- The anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $135,000 to $145,000 annually for US-based employees. This range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position across all US locations, is based on a full-time work schedule, and is Welch's good faith estimate as of the date of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for participation in a bonus plan.
