Job Description\n
American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist with both general and vascular ultrasound experience for a rotating shift position.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in a hospital ultrasound unit handling both vascular and general ultrasound exams
- Covers OR, ER, inpatient, and outpatient populations
- Mixed shifts including Thursdays (3:30 PM - 7:30 PM) and Friday through Sunday (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
- Rotating 8-hour shifts with weekend and holiday coverage required
- Potential to float to affiliated sites including Addison Gilbert Hospital and Lahey Outpatient Center in Danvers, MA
- Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of medical disorders
- Flexibility required for floating to off-site locations and participating in holiday and on-call rotations
- Pass/fail testing for Tele/ECG and Medication may be required at some campuses
- No locals allowed unless specifically approved on a case-by-case basis, minimum 50-mile radius required
- Returning employees must adhere to the 6-month break policy before being eligible for consideration

- ARDMS certification in hand
- Vascular ultrasound and general ultrasound experience required
- MA ultrasound license required if applicable
- Must have separated from any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility for at least 6 months to be considered
- COVID vaccine and booster, and seasonal Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions allowed)
