A Claremont, NH-based K-12 educational institution is seeking a skilled professional to provide essential SLP services to students. This contract position spans the entire school year, offering a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children.
Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC)
- Masters degree in SLP or related field
- Experience working in K-12 settings preferred
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement appropriate therapy plans based on individual student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student goals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress
- Attend and participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
