Position Overview:
The Sales Manager is responsible for leading a team of Sales Associates to deliver exceptional customer experience and achieve dealership performance goals. This role requires hands-on leadership, a passion for team development, and the ability to manage all aspects of the sales process — from customer engagement to deal structure and inventory planning.
You'll work closely with the General Manager to increase market share, optimize gross profit, and build a culture of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire the sales team to achieve monthly sales, profit, and CSI goals
- Recruit, train, coach, and retain top-performing Sales Associates
- Actively engage in daily operations, including desking deals and appraising trades
- Oversee customer negotiation and ensure clear communication of purchase options and pricing
- Collaborate with leadership to plan and manage new and used vehicle inventory
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, shortfalls, and opportunities for improvement
- Manage controllable expenses and support dealership profitability goals
Performance Expectations:
- Achieve targeted unit sales and gross profit
- Maintain strong customer satisfaction and team retention metrics
- Demonstrate leadership aligned with Berlin City Auto Group's mission and values
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of automotive retail sales or management experience
- Strong computer and CRM proficiency
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Must be 18 years or older and able to pass a background check and drug screening
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
