Job title: Sr. Transportation Project Manager (Office Leader)
Location: Southeast MA (hybrid)
Compensation: 180-250K base + bonuses
Position Overview
The Sr. Transportation Project Manager (Office Leader) will oversee and manage transportation projects from conception through completion, ensuring all projects adhere to industry standards and regulations. This role requires strong leadership skills to guide the project team and maintain client relationships, with a focus on delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage transportation projects, ensuring compliance with MassDot and AASHTO standards.
- Supervise project teams, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure successful completion.
- Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to gather project requirements and provide updates.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential project challenges.
- Review engineering designs and ensure they meet civil engineering standards and regulations.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and stakeholders regarding project status and outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in transportation project management.
- Strong knowledge of MassDot and Department of Transportation regulations and standards.
- Proficient in Civil 3D and other relevant engineering software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
