Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced IT Support Technician to join our team and provide top-tier support to our clients. In this role, you'll handle a wide range of technical issues, from routine troubleshooting to complex deployments, while managing the unique needs of multiple clients across varied environments. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proactive mindset to ensure swift resolutions and outstanding service. While primarily focused on help desk support, you'll also participate in deployments and ongoing support, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on involvement in all aspects of IT operations.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an MSP environment, with a strong ability to manage and prioritize the needs of multiple clients in varied technical setups.
- Fundamental troubleshooting knowledge of Windows, MacOS, iOS, and Android operating systems.
- In-depth expertise in Windows troubleshooting, including diagnostic utilities and advanced problem-solving techniques.
- Solid understanding of Active Directory, GPOs, Entra Active Directory, Intune endpoint management, SharePoint, Teams, server backups, firewall management, and antivirus troubleshooting.
- Fundamental networking skills, including DNS, DHCP, IP subnetting, NAT, PAT, and concepts equivalent to CompTIA Network+ certification.
- Fluency in English with friendly, professional communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a track record of quickly diagnosing and resolving diverse technical challenges.
- Ability to work full-time in our Nashua, NH office, with flexibility for periodic on-site client visits and on-call rotations.
- A positive, hardworking attitude, team-oriented mindset, and commitment to delivering best-in-class technical support.
Preferred Qualifications (Plus):
- Experience with Hyper-V and VMware management.
- Familiarity or exposure to industry compliances such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CMMC, and other common IT standards.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft certifications) – we support and pay for exam fees to help you advance!
- A passion for continuous learning and staying ahead of emerging IT trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide efficient and professional help desk support via phone, email, remote access, and on-site visits as needed.
- Quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues across Windows, MacOS, iOS, and Android devices.
- Manage and troubleshoot Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), Entra Active Directory, Intune endpoint management, SharePoint, Teams, server backups, firewalls, and antivirus systems.
- Apply fundamental networking knowledge to address networking issues.
- Prioritize requests across multiple clients in diverse IT environments, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
- Participate in deployments, installations, and on-site troubleshooting at client locations in the Nashua area and beyond.
- Rotate On-Call duties to provide after-hours support as required.
- Collaborate with team members to share knowledge, improve processes, and deliver innovative solutions.
- Maintain detailed documentation of issues, resolutions, and client interactions to support continuous improvement.
