Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 Special Education Teacher opportunity is available in Montpelier, VT, for the current school year on a contract basis. This role is designed for a dedicated professional passionate about supporting the diverse learning needs of students from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students unique needs and learning goals.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and specialists to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

• Maintain accurate records and ply with all special education regulations and reporting requirements.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid special education teaching certification.
• Experience working with K-12 students with a range of learning challenges.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, best practices, and instructional techniques.
