Summary: Len-Tex Wallcovering is seeking a dedicated Millwright Mechanic to join our Maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for various tasks related to building operation and maintenance to ensure the daily operations and safety of both plants.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist with plant projects and tasks as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
• Work with all industrial electrical needs of the plant.
• Perform AC/DC troubleshooting and repair.
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections on all plant and utility electrical systems and needed apparatus.
• Initiate work orders for system deficiencies requiring investigation or repair.
• Perform daily inspections of plant and utility systems to ensure proper operation.
• Handle shipping and receiving functions at the Church St. plant, using material handling equipment with care and completing shipping documents with accuracy.
• Perform plumbing repairs and upgrades as needed.
• Conduct moderate to complex troubleshooting and repairs of production, plant, and utility systems.
• Assist and coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure equipment is maintained in full operational status.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Industrial electrician experience; a license is a plus.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Outlook.
• Ability to pass company fork truck certification.
• Ability to grip, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Knowledge of and ability to use hand tools, large industrial machines, and other necessary tools to complete projects.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications:

• Understanding of industrial maintenance with proven troubleshooting skills.
• Minimum of 4-5 years of prior experience working in a safety-conscious environment.
• Strong communication and prioritization skills.
