We are looking for an experienced Contracts Administrator to join our client's team in Lexington, Massachusetts. This is a Long-term Contract position that offers part-time hours and an excellent opportunity for professionals skilled in contract management and legal agreements to contribute to a dynamic environment. The role involves overseeing contract processes, maintaining databases, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure smooth contract administration.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain and update the contracts management database, ensuring all executed agreements are accurately recorded.
• Collaborate closely with attorneys during contract negotiations to support the legal team.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders regarding contract workflows, processes, and approvals.
• Track contract lifecycle events, such as expirations, and notify relevant stakeholders while updating the database accordingly.
• Provide internal stakeholders with requested copies of contracts and related documentation.
• Review and redline standard templates, including Consulting Agreements, Master Services Agreements, Amendments, Statements of Work, and Confidentiality Agreements.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and legal standards in all contract-related activities.
• Monitor and improve contract management processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Serve as a point of contact for inquiries and troubleshooting related to contract documentation.
• Proven experience in contract administration and management.
• Familiarity with contract negotiations and legal agreements.
• Strong understanding of commercial contracts, including their review and redlining.
• Proficiency in managing and maintaining contract databases.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interact with internal teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to track and manage contract lifecycle events effectively.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of standard contract templates and legal terminology.
