Job Description\n
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Critical Care Float position requiring a MA RN license and recent ICU experience.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Works in a hospital setting floating within critical care units
- Cares for ICU-level patients in a Level 1 Trauma facility
- Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week (19:00–07:00)
- Expected to work every other weekend and every other holiday
- Uses Epic EMR, experience preferred but not required
- Expected to provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in a float capacity across multiple critical care units
- Completion of pre-start and orientation modules required, tracked through Workday
- Any shift call-outs must be made up at the end of the assignment
- 200-mile minimum distance required from permanent address to facility for eligibility
- Holiday and weekend coverage is part of normal scheduling
- Failure to pass orientation Tele exam results in assignment cancellation
- Orientation includes both online and in-person training components

- Active Massachusetts RN license in hand required
- Minimum of 3 years recent ICU experience, Level 1 Trauma experience preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Completion of a pass/fail Tele exam during orientation with an 80% passing score required
- Two professional references required, with one from a Nurse Manager or higher
- No prior disciplinary actions on nursing license
