Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to support the K-12 student population in Pittsfield, MA. This contract position offers the chance to work directly within the school environment, providing essential psychological services across multiple caseload options to best match your expertise and preferences.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments for students K-12.
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and related service providers to develop individualized educational plans (IEPs).
- Providing consultation and support to school staff regarding student needs, behavior management, and intervention strategies.
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting services to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working within K-12 public school settings.
- Strong assessment, communication, and consultative skills.
- Ability to manage multiple caseloads effectively.
- Commitment to working onsite full-time.
