Location: Bedford, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Part-Time
Work Schedule: Approximately 3 hours per day, Monday - Friday (10:40 AM - 1:40 PM daily)
Dates: August 2025 - June 2026 (Full School Year)
About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year in Bedford, New Hampshire. This unique opportunity offers a consistent part-time schedule, ideal for a professional passionate about early childhood development. You will be responsible for providing essential speech and language services to our preschool-aged students, playing a crucial role in their foundational communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations for preschool students.
- Developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) and therapy plans tailored to the specific needs of young learners.
- Providing direct and indirect therapy services to preschool students in individual and small group settings.
- Collaborating effectively with preschool teachers, parents, and other multidisciplinary team members to support student goals.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, progress notes, IEPs, and other required reports.
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing valuable SLP expertise for early childhood development.
- Adapting therapy activities and strategies to suit the developmental stages and learning styles of preschool children.
- Staying current with best practices in early childhood and school-based speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid and active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of New Hampshire.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
- Must have prior experience working as an SLP in a school setting.
- Experience with a preschool caseload is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of the IEP process and school-based service delivery models.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A genuine passion for supporting the communication development of young children.
