Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contracted position is available for a Special Education teacher to support middle and high school students in a K-12 educational setting in Epping, NH. The role involves onsite work at the school, providing essential special education services to students in grades 6-12 during the school year.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering specialized instruction and support tailored to students with diverse learning needs
- Collaborating with classroom teachers and support staff to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Monitoring and documenting student progress and adjusting instructional approaches as needed
- Maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom environment that fosters student growth and engagement
- Participating in team meetings, parent conferences, and other school activities related to special education
Qualifications:
- Active New Hampshire Special Education License is required; please have a copy of your license and endorsements ready for review
- Experience working with middle and/or high school students in a special education setting
- Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
- Effective communication and teamwork skills for working closely with staff, students, and families
- Commitment to supporting the academic and social development of students with disabilities
Additional Details:
- Position dates: December 15, 2025, through June 16, 2026
- Full-time: 37.5 hours per week
- Location: Onsite at Epping, New Hampshire
- Contract position covering a backfill assignment
