Extruder Operator ( 2nd shift with training on 1st shift required )
Great temp to hire position with a Concord , NH are manufacturing facility .
Shift: 2nd shift, 2:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. Training on first shift ( 7am -3:00 pm ) to transition to 2nd once fully trained.
Pay rate : to $23.00
Reporting to the Plant Superintendent the Extruder Operator works proficiently with others, but also has the ability to work well independently. The extruder operator will have the ability to perform a skilled level of work in the application of a compounded rubber stock that is applied to roll through the extrusion process.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
Initial assignment qualities and responsibilities to include:
· Safely and efficiently operate roll rotating equipment.
· Safely and efficiently operate overhead cranes and forklifts.
· Safely and efficiently operate hand and power tools.
· Ability to accurately use scales to weigh raw materials for blending.
· Ability follow written mixing instructions.
· Complete paperwork as necessary to document covering variables.
· Learn to operate new equipment if/when upgraded.
· Ability to read and understand standard prints and instructions.
· Other assignments as directed by production supervision.
· Ability to perform other maintenance, housekeeping, painting and miscellaneous tasks as needed and/or as directed by supervision.
· Be willing and able to proficiently perform all tasks with or without supervision.
