Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time school psychologist position is available to support a high school caseload in Brockton, MA. This contract role is ideal for professionals seeking temporary assignments, with two potential durations to choose from: an 8-week or longer commitment starting in mid-February through June, or a shorter term from May through June.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations for high school students
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Providing counseling and support services to students with behavioral or emotional challenges
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to address student needs
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and regulations
Desired qualifications:
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with high school students and managing a caseload
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and school personnel
- Flexibility to adapt to the specific scheduling needs of leave coverage
