Auto Detailer – Full-Time | Stoneham Auto Detailing (Stoneham, MA)
Hourly Pay: $19.00–$23.00 per hour (based on experience)
Stoneham Auto Detailing, a family-owned auto shop located in Stoneham, MA (serving Boston / Greater Boston, Middlesex County, and Metro-North suburbs), is expanding. We’re seeking a dedicated auto detailer / car detailer / vehicle detailer to join our fast-growing team. If you take pride in delivering top-notch car cleaning services, interior and exterior detailing, and enjoy working hands-on with vehicles — we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional vehicle detailing services: interior cleaning, exterior washing, polishing, waxing, buffing, steam cleaning, vacuuming
- Use detailing equipment: buffers, steamers, vacuums, hoses, and other tools in a safe, efficient manner
- Maintain a clean, safe, organized work station and follow automotive detailing standards
- Inspect each vehicle to ensure quality and customer satisfaction upon completion
- Record vehicle condition and services performed accurately
- Move, park, and deliver vehicles as required; occasionally assist customers with pick-up/drop-off
- Deliver high-quality customer service, respond to client requests, and represent the company professionally
Candidate Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years professional automotive/car detailing experience
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions precisely
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive, team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic
- Physical stamina — able to stand, crouch, bend, and move for extended periods
- Willingness to complete pre-employment screening: drug test, driver license & driving record check, background / CORI check (where required by MA law)
Pre-Employment Screening Requirements
All new hires at Stoneham Auto Detailing must successfully complete:
- Drug screening
- Driver license and driving record check
- Background check (CORI), conducted according to Massachusetts law
