Job DescriptionSalary: $35-45/hr DOE

Were looking for a Lead Field Technician to join our team and oversee high-quality service and maintenance operations in the field. This is a hands-on, senior-level role that blends technical expertise, leadership, and client-facing responsibilities.

As the primary on-site leader, youll be responsible for executing complex repair and maintenance work and ensuring every job meets our exacting standards for quality, safety, and client satisfaction. Youll mentor junior technicians and collaborate with Client Managers to ensure operational excellence. The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on experience in residential construction and property maintenance, thrives in fast-paced environments, and leads by example with a commitment to craftsmanship and service.


Responsibilities

  • Serve as the on-site team leader for service and maintenance projects, ensuring efficient, high-quality execution across all tasks
  • Lead complex service and repair projects, ensuring work is completed on time, on budget, and to specifications
  • Adapt technical approaches to meet the unique needs of each client property, with a focus on craftsmanship and precision
  • Conduct detailed inspections of completed work to ensure alignment with company standards, client expectations, and safety regulations
  • Address any issues in real-time, providing corrective actions to maintain quality and project timelines
  • Mentor and train junior technicians, providing guidance, feedback, and ongoing professional development
  • Enforce company policies, OSHA safety protocols, and best practices across all projects
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including materials used, issues encountered, and solutions implemented
  • Coordinate closely with Client Managers and the Director of Field Services to align execution with project timelines and client needs
  • Manage jobsite logistics, including tools, materials, and labor, to optimize resource use and minimize downtime
  • Attend team meetings and training sessions to share best practices and troubleshoot common field challenges
  • Model the companys core values of Service, Teamwork, Accountability, and Results both on and off the clock


Location & Commitments

  • This position is based in the Portsmouth, NH/North Shore area, with daily travel to client properties throughout the region
  • Part-time role with potential to be full-time (up to 40+ hours per week), with flexibility to work outside of standard business hours as needed to meet project deadlines or client expectations


Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required
  • Minimum 8+ years of hands-on experience in carpentry, general maintenance, or home repair, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Expertise in mechanical systems, residential construction, and high-end property maintenance
  • Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills with a client-first mindset and a focus on delivering white-glove service
  • Knowledge of and adherence to OSHA safety standards; ability to enforce safety protocols on active job sites
  • Professional demeanor, reliability, and strong alignment with company values
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and use tools and materials as needed for on-site work


Pay Range

  • $35 - $45 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications
