Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Blazer Jobs is hiring an experienced Sign Language Interpreter for a Peterborough-area school district.
Pay: From $35-$42/hr, based off experience

Requirements (New Hampshire):

• Interpreter licensure through the NH Interpreter Licensure Board

• RID certification (NIC, CI, CT, or equivalent) strongly preferred

• Proficiency in American Sign Language

• Experience interpreting in educational settings preferred

Responsibilities:

• Provide interpretation for students, staff, and families

• Facilitate communication between Deaf/Hard of Hearing students and hearing peers/staff

• Support comprehension of classroom instruction and extracurricular activities

• Maintain confidentiality and ethical interpreting standards
