Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at an elementary school serving students from PreK through 5th grade. The role offers a contract through the end of the current school year and is located in Newport, NH. The successful candidate will provide essential speech and language support, working 37.5 hours per week across five days to address the diverse communication needs of young learners.
Qualifications:
- Valid New Hampshire SLP certification required
- ASHA CCCs preferred but not mandatory
- Open to Speech-Language Pathologists at all career stages, including new graduates
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in elementary-aged children (PreK-5th grade)
- Develop and implement individualized education plans and therapy to support student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote effective communication strategies
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with school and state regulations
Position Details:
- Immediate start date preferred
- Contract position lasting through the end of the school year
- Full-time schedule: 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
