Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract position is available for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to support a high school setting in Londonderry, NH. This role requires expertise in American Sign Language (ASL) to facilitate effective communication for deaf and hard-of-hearing students, ensuring equal access to education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and clear sign language interpretation during classroom instruction, meetings, and school events.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and students to support learning and communication needs.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
- Assist in creating an inclusive environment that supports student success.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proficiency in American Sign Language with demonstrated interpreting experience.
