We are a thriving Northshore IT Company seeking a dedicated and experienced entry-level Help Desk Technician to join our team. Our company provides IT consulting and support to customers primarily on Bostons North Shore. We pride ourselves on offering hands-on support for customer networks and delivering exceptional service. Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance via phone, email, or ticketing system.
- Provide hands-on technical support for customer networks, addressing a variety of issues related to Office 365/Exchange Online, and Windows workstations and servers.
- Conduct remote troubleshooting sessions, delivering remote support to clients as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve complex technical challenges and deliver effective solutions.
- Assist in configuring Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 environments.
- Troubleshoot client network and internet issues.
- Provision and troubleshoot customer's phone systems.
- Occasional travel to local customer sites North of Boston during business hours for on-site appointments, ensuring timely and efficient problem resolution.

Hours and Work Arrangements:
- Full-time position with a combination of in-office and on-site work.
- Office hours for this position are 9 to 5.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary starting at $50k/yr, negotiable with experience and qualifications.

Required qualifications (what you need to succeed):
- A valid state-issued drivers license.
- A road-legal, insured, vehicle.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in customer-facing Help Desk support.
- Strong background with Office 365 Administration.
- Network troubleshooting experience.
- The ability to document all work done, within our PSA.
- Candidates must possess exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
- A willingness to travel to local client sites, up to 25% of the time.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- The ability to sit/stand/walk for extended periods of time.
- The ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.
Preferred qualifications (what will put you above other applicants):
- A thoughtful cover letter.
- Mac OS troubleshooting experience.
- Experience with hardware troubleshooting and mobile device support.
- VOIP phone system experience, such as Ring Central.
