Manufacturing Systems Engineer - Electromechanical & NPI

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead and optimize manufacturing processes for advanced electromechanical systems. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and new product introduction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement efficient manufacturing processes for electromechanical assemblies.
  • Apply lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve throughput.
  • Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, work instructions, and training materials.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product introduction and ensure design for manufacturability.
  • Lead root cause investigations and apply 8D problem-solving methodologies to resolve production issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Provide technical mentorship and support to junior engineers and production staff.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role focused on electromechanical systems.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and experience with CAD-based process development.
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
  • Experience with NPI and DFM principles.
  • Skilled in structured problem-solving techniques such as 8D and root cause analysis.
