Job Summary
As an Estate Administration Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys with complex trust, estate, and probate matters. Your expertise and attention to detail will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient and accurate administration of their clients' estates, trusts, and wills.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with all aspects of estate planning, including the preparation of wills, trusts, and related documents
- Conduct research and analysis to support the administration of trusts and estates
- Coordinate with clients, beneficiaries, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and documentation
- Prepare and file probate court documents, such as petitions, inventories, and accountings
- Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Collaborate with the legal team to provide exceptional client service and achieve successful outcomes
Qualifications
- Paralegal certificate or degree, with a focus on estate planning and administration
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Estate Administration Paralegal
- Demonstrated knowledge of trust, estate, and probate law
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in legal research and the use of relevant software and technologies
Working Conditions
As an Estate Administration Paralegal, you will work in a fast-paced, professional environment within our law firm. The position may require occasional overtime or weekend work to meet client deadlines. A high level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously are essential.
Compensation and Benefits
This position offers a competitive salary range of between $80,000 to $120,000 DOE, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement planning, and paid time off.
