School Level: Elementary (with some PreK caseloads)
Job Description: Soliant Health is seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Concord, NH. This full-time position will involve working with elementary students, including some PreK caseloads, in a single school location. The SLPA will provide 1:1 therapy, assist in data collection, and support the speech-language pathologist (SLP) in implementing individualized treatment plans. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver 1:1 speech and language therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.
- Collect and document data on student progress.
- Support students in developing communication skills, including articulation, fluency, and language comprehension.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions and student progress.
Qualifications:
- B.S. Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or a related field
- Valid SLPA license or certification in the state of New Hampshire
- Previous experience working with children in a school setting is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
